 r\n\nWe have Sharon Huntley on board for the event. She is a great spokesp
 erson for the story of losing her son to distracted driving.\n\n‘Live Wi
 thout Your Phone’ Sharon Huntley\n\nSharon Huntley brings her personal s
 tory of loss to focus on the dangers and ultimate cost of distracted drivi
 ng. Highlighting her son Spencer’s death at age 18 due to distracted dri
 ving\, she shares an opening video of her son\, talks about his last few m
 oments and shows a picture of the scene of the accident. Once she has thei
 r attention\, the lecture focuses on teenage distracted driving statistics
  and the physiological limitations of the brain. Using data and educationa
 l study results\, she shows that the brain in fact\, cannot do two things 
 at once. She touches on the Vermont state law\, its consequences and outli
 nes strategies for eliminating your phone as a distraction while driving.\
