DESCRIPTION:Stop the Bleed is a national campaign that addresses the most 
 common cause of preventable trauma death in the US: uncontrolled bleeding.
  No matter how rapid the arrival of professional emergency responders\, by
 standers will always be the first on the scene.\n\nTrauma Services at UVM 
 Medical Center wants everyone to be knowledgeable in the use of compressio
 n techniques\, or a tourniquet in trying to stop uncontrolled bleeding.\n\
 nTraining is about one hour and consists of a presentation\, opportunity f
 or discussion and a hands-on skills station. B-CON (Bleeding Control) is 
 open to employees &amp\; the public.\n\nUVM Health staff can come to you
