JOB TITLE: Safety Manager
REPORTS TO: Chief Operating Officer
SALARY: Commensurate with Experience
SCOPE and MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide leadership, coordination and technical expertise in the area of safety. The Safety Manager is responsible for the development, maintenance, and implementation of programs, processes, procedures and metrics to continuously improve the safety performance of the organization. S/he will nourish a culture where safety is a principal value in all activities and in which every employee assumes accountability for safety; and assures compliance with regulatory requirements.
