EDUCATION
Developing an Effective Silica Exposure Control Plan Jack Schill, CIH, CSP
This talk will introduce a tool developed to provide the employers who have limited resources a path to demonstrate compliance with the OSHA Respirable Crystalline Silica Rule.
This tool is primarily designed to permit the employer to effectively demonstrate compliance with the OSHA Respirable Crystalline Silica rule.
The tool aids the employer by providing step by step instruction on how to
- • demonstrate if the OSHA Respirable Crystalline Silica Rule applies,
- • demonstrate the worker’s exposure to respirable crystalline silica dust using a direct reading dust meter, and
- • efficiently develop an effective written silica exposure control plan.
