9:00 AM – Dan Whipple – Welcome, Introductions, & short discussion on this year’s Top Ten OSHA citations
9:10 AM – Dan Whipple, OHST, VOSHA Program Manager.
The Lockout/Tagout standard requires the adoption and implementation of practices and procedures to shut down equipment, isolate it from its energy source(s), and prevent the release of potentially hazardous energy while maintenance and servicing activities are being performed.
There will be time allotted for Q & A so feel free to come prepared with questions.
There will be a 15-minute break midway through Dan’s presentation.
11:30 AM – Michael O’Hara, Columbia Forest Products will give a presentation on their Company Policy and how they implement the policy and comply with the regulation.
12:15 PM – Lunch and networking
